Farmfoods European Legends Links Championship launches at Marylebone Hotel

While event organisers Champions (UK) plc have been busily working behind the scenes for the Farmfoods European Legends Links Championship for some months now, last night saw the event officially launched with a special event taking place at the luxury Marylebone Hotel in London.

To celebrate the Staysure Tour’s newest event, esteemed guests headed to the hotel for a night of entertainment and to discover what was in store.

Guests were treated to a drinks and canapes reception upon arrival before the evening’s host, former Team GB athlete Derek Redmond took to the stage. The tournament will be organised by Champions and the company’s Director of Sport, Tim Munton was also on-hand to address audience members and answer any questions on this year’s event.

The highlight of the evening was without doubt European Tour legend and Ryder Cup winner Peter Baker, who took part in a Q&A with guests. Competing in the event himself come June, he was able to talk about some of the best moments of his career as well as discuss his excitement for the Farmfoods European Legends Links Championship.

The event was a great way to introduce the tournament and give guests an insight into the exciting playing and sponsorship opportunities that are also on offer.
